Rachael Gorchov

 

Through compiling, altering and copying photographs lifted from advertising and mass media, Gorchov’s work brings these ubiquitous and disposable images to center stage in order to study how they represent American’s collective dreams and daily life. Rachael Gorchov received her BFA from Tyler School of Art, Temple University in Philadelphia and her MFA from Hunter College, CUNY in New York City where she currently lives. She has exhibited in the US and Europe.
